NFHS has posted new rules changes for the 2021-22 season. The link is listed below for your convenience.

2021-22 Volleyball Rule Changes

Both spring meetings will be VIRTUAL ONLY…there will be no in person meeting. Milan will send the login information 1 week prior to the meeting date.

Meeting dates: February 21, 2021 and March 14, 2021

Your dues for GTCCVO can be mailed or paid by paypal. If you have any questions in regards to your dues, please notify Kim Guseman – email address and phone number are available in the Arbiter.

August 15 (Rules Interpretation meeting 7:00 PM start)
August 15 Chapter meeting (Following rules interp meeting)

Start time is 7:15 pm (EXCEPT RULES INTERPRETATION MEETING)

Check your email for your personal statement and payment options for the 2021 Chapter Dues. (If you DID NOT receive this email . . . PLEASE CHECK YOUR JUNK MAILBOX)

There are now three different ways to make your payment.

Standard dues for 2021 are $40. Some members were credited for previous insurance payments, etc.

Chapter Dues are payable not later than March 14th. After that date a $10 late fee will be incurred.

Any questions on the amount that you were invoiced should be directed to Kim Guseman – Treasurer.

This is a reminder that PIAA dues are due. Login to the PIAA website to view payment options.

PAYMENT SCHEDULE
October – January 15th – Discount period
January 16th – February 28th – Face value
March 1st – March 31st – Late fee added
April 1st – June 30th – Reinstatement fee added
July 1st – Official is suspended

Mary Carretta, beloved wife of Chapter Member Frank Carretta, passed away on Tuesday, January, 5th. The chapter would like to offer our sincere condolences to Frank and his family at this very difficult time.

It is with a profound sense of sadness that we share the news of the sudden passing of Mary Myron, beloved wife of fellow chapter member Stephen Dobrosielski. Please keep Steve and his family in your prayers at this very difficult time. Here is a link to her obituary.

Golden Triangle Volleyball Chapter Officials were well represented for the 2020 WPIAL and PIAA playoffs and finals. Congratulations to all the officials who were assigned to work the matches. Special congrats goes out to Kris Ruppert and John Howell who have been chosen to officiate AA State Final this Saturday! Much Success to both of you. All the PIAA finals will be broadcasted on the PA channel either Saturday or Sunday. Check your local listing.

The 59th Annual Old Timer’s Memorial Service to honor deceased sports officials, coaches, players and personalities will again be held at St. Simon & Jude Church, located at 1607 Greentree Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15220, on Saturday, December 5, 2020, at 9:00 am.
