This Chapter of Certified Volleyball Officials, also currently known as GTCCVO, was formed in 1975 for the express purpose of promoting the game of volleyball at all levels of competition through the medium of improved officiating and to conduct clinics for players, coaches, and officials.
The chapter is also responsible for a complete and accurate interpretation of the rules of the National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS) which is the national governing body for High School Athletics.
Lastly, the chapter is to maintain officiating skills at the highest professional level so as to generate favorable rapport within the volleyball community: junior high, junior varsity and varsity levels.
