Uniform for WPIAL/PIAA playoffs

The WPIAL and the PIAA both have confirmed that either the black/white stripe or the white shirt are okay to wear during the playoffs and finals. ALL officials must be in the same uniform...I suggest you take both shirts with you. Good luck to all who have been assigned.

Last chapter meeting/officers & board positions

Our last chapter meeting was held Sunday, October 20, 2019. Elections were held for the positions of Vice President, Recording Secretary, Assigner, and two board seats. I would like to announce the winners after the votes were tallied. Vice President: Dave Mrvos; Recording Secretary: Karen Ricco; Assigner: Matt Martin; and board members: Kim Guseman and Eric Ressler. A seat on the board was vacated due to Dave Mrvos becoming Vice President. Dan Wolfe was elected to fill that seat.

I would like to thank Joe Hardiman for his years of service as our chapter Assigner. Golden Triangle Volleyball Chapter would not be where it is today without his dedication and perseverance. I truly appreciate all that Joe has done for our chapter and I’m sure everyone in our chapter agrees.

I look forward to moving our chapter in a positive direction with our new officers and board members. I am always open to any suggestions you have for making our chapter even stronger than it has been for years. You can email or call me at any time.

Thank you to everyone who attended the meeting last night and I hope you all enjoyed the food and beverages that were provided. Good luck to our chapter members who are selected to work the WPIAL and PIAA volleyball playoffs and finals.

See you all in the spring for the boys’ season!

Best Regards,

Debby McSwiggen, President, G.T.C.C.V.O.
